TOKYO — If you’ve ever did not make a highschool sports activities group, David Kendziera is most likely your Olympic spirit animal. Kendziera — who completed twelfth within the 400-meter hurdles Sunday after failing to advance to the general — was once lower as a sophomore through a hurdles trainer at Prospect High School after a one-day tryout.
